About ChrisI am based in the lovely village of Stanion, Northamptonshire (England).
Having spent most of my life bringing up two boys and looking after my husband whilst trying to maintain some creativity in my life, I have now 'taken the plunge' and am pursuing a full-time career in textile art. Ripley, the cocker spaniel, comes along for the ride. |

I have had a love of sewing and textiles since my school days. I hold a degree in textiles and have completed the City & Guilds programme in Design and Embroidery to Diploma level.
I endeavour to keep my work fresh and contemporary to reflect a love of experimenting with new ideas and techniques. I love to incorporate mixed media into my work and also enjoy the challenge of working with recycled materials, teabags in particular! I now also write tutorials and articles for Stitch magazine on a regular basis. |
